Welcoming, delicious food and situated in an amazing location.
The brothers who run this quite isolated hut have a really friendly approach to delivering the service. Certainly wasn't busy in March 2023 when visiting for ski touring
Was there some years ago, service very unfriendly, price very high would not recommend it.
Always a great pleasure to stop for a punch, a lunch, a chocolate, a sleep, ... and today 1st September first snow of the season fallen the night of 31 of August 2020.
I ate here the best polenta ever. But the toilet was temporarily a boy's bathing place :)
Food is awesome and the brothers are fun. Best gnocchi!
Good beer
Starting from the car park in Forni, in about an hour and a half you arrive at 2706 metres, where there is this beautiful refuge surrounded by peaks, but in particular the Gran Zebrù cone, Mount Cevedale and Mount Pasquale stand out. Excellent food and served very quickly. Placed both externally and internally. In summer they don't take reservations, very hospitable. For the return trip, I recommend following the panoramic path on the right that dominates the valley and you can better admire the Forni glacier. Beautiful!! ✨
High altitude refuge immersed in an environment that includes pastures, stony ground, moraines and glaciers. An unmissable place for those who seek the best in the mountains, whether they are expert climbers or passionate hikers with family in tow. Absolutely complete service in a very refined environment.
